Custom Challenge Coin is made from a mold using a design that you approve. 

 The initial mold is a copper bronze base, and is generally two-sided like a standard coin with designs featured on both sides.

 Customs edging, 3D shapes and text, and custom packaging and display cases are just some of the ways you can make your Challenge Coin truly unique. 

 Once the initial mold is stamped with your custom design and closely inspected for accuracy, it is fired at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes.

 An optional epoxy can be applied at this stage which acts as a protective coating to keep the color enamels from cracking or fading over time. 

 Your Custom Challenge Coin is then polished, one at a time, then plated with the finish of your choice. 

 These finishes include shiny gold, silver, and several different variations of Antiquing.    Each coin is inspected to ensure superior quality before being individually packaged .
